Lots of exciting new changes are happening with HWC this year, including a new practice facility to help us accommodate our growing club, new coaching staff to provide opportunities for our wrestlers to reach their maximum potential, and new fundraisers to help get them there! Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and learn more about our Club. The sport of wrestling is one that requires dedication, hard work, and a lot of courage. We are so proud of each and every one of our athletes for displaying all of these attributes every time they step out on the mat. They are inspiring to us all. END OF THE YEAR PARTY ON THE BOOKS!! We are planning the party to again be at the York Community Center. It is scheduled for June 2nd. Stay tuned for further details and watch your email for updates from the News Blast.
TWO TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPIONS THIS YEAR!!! Great job Ridge Troupe and Seth Schroeck for earning the 2012 Montana Triple Crown! Ridge won the award in the Intermediate 87 division, and Seth in Schoolboy 91. Keep up the great work you two!
CONGRATULATIONS HWC ON TAKING HOME TWO STATE TEAM TITLES AT THE MONTANA USAW STATE FREESTYLE & GRECO TOURNAMENTS!!! Not only did we take home the Medium Team State team titles for both styles, but we amassed SEVEN individual titles in Freestyle and SEVEN more in Greco! WOW!!!
SECOND ANNUAL KEN CLOUD CLASSIC A HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to all the many wonderful people who volunteered their time, to our corporate sponsors for their generous donations, and to Justin Abdou for putting on an awesome clinic for our athletes and coaches. We are so proud of and thankful for our HWC family! In total, we had 11 champions, two OW awards, and we took home the large team trophy! Outstanding!
Congratulations JOE BOGART for winning the Early Bird drawing at our tournament! Joe is now the proud owner of a Henry Golden Boy .22 rifle. Joe’s name will go back into the final drawing, which will be held June 23rd at Wholesale Sports. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased from any Club member. You need not be present to win, so get your tickets today!
CONGRATULATIONS SETH SCHROECK FOR ACHIEVING ALL AMERICAN STATUS! Schroeck recently competed in the 2012 USAW Folkstyle National Championships in Iowa, and placed 7th to obtain his All-American status. Way to go Seth!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AMAZING TEAM ON THEIR PERFORMACE AT THE STATE FOLKSTYLE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT!!!! We had SIX State Champions this year… a first for us! Congratulations Tyler Coddington, Derek Nygaard, Ridge Troupe, Nick Kunz, Seth Schroeck, and CJ Snyder for being crowned State Champs! Way to go boys!
