2024 Team MT German Cultural ExchangeFundraiser for Local Helena Wrestlers<img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jerseywatch-wysiwyg-files/production%2FPage%2F53764%2F1711395861208-team+mt+design.png" style="width: 300px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib">Fundraising Goal- $12,000<a href="https://www.helenawrestlingclub.com/user/programs/53740/registrants/new"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jerseywatch-wysiwyg-files/production%2FPage%2F53764%2F1711397168888-donate+now+button.png" style="width: 123px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"></a>To Support these Helena Wrestlers and Coach ChetThe Team Mt Cultural Exchange and Wrestling opportunity to compete in Germany is sponsored by USAW/AAU of Montana. &nbsp;Treasure State wrestlers will visit Germany July 23 through Aug. 11 to experience the German culture and wrestle international local teams. &nbsp; The team will visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, castles, cathedrals, the Mercedes-Benz Museum, the Black Forest, and Europa-Park. &nbsp;Wrestlers from Billings, Helena, Kalispell, Manhattan, Miles City, Missoula, Red Lodge and Dillon are all currently signed up to be a part of Team Montana. &nbsp;A max of 18 wrestlers from Montana are selected to participate in this program. &nbsp;The fee is $2,600, which includes airfare, a training camp in Billings prior to the trip, and team gear. Wrestlers will stay with host families, who also feed Team Montana, in Germany. Wrestlers will also need around $400 spending money for the trip.&nbsp;The head coach for Team Montana is Mike Etchemendy of Miles City. The assistant coach is Chet O&rsquo;Shea of Helena, HWC and the girls coach is Jayda Fox of Miles City.
